The Montana Women For meeting on Thursday night promises to be a terrific one. Not only will we be hearing about MWF upcoming events and plans, and getting reports from the Livingston Food Pantry and from Angela Nelmark of the Tri County Council on Domestic Violence, but we are enormously privileged to have been added to the national Wheels of Justice tour, with speakers who have spent time in both Iraq and Palestine and who have a message and perspective of the region almost never found on today’s mainstream media. Also, our own Dr. Sue Wicklund will be telling us about the national NARAL meeting she just attended in Washington DC and about the current state of our reproductive freedoms.
So we need your help in ensuring that we have an impressive turnout. Please call as many people as you can to spread the news that anyone and everyone is welcome to come. Please bring donations for both organizations if you can. Our battered women’s shelter needs toiletries (the little ones from
hotels are always great) and cleaning aids and towels and sheets and anything else you can think of that would be helpful and comforting to a sad and temporarily re-located woman. And the food pantry needs as many non-perishable items that it can get.
We’ll have a potluck get-reaquainted hour from 6 to 7 and then promptly at 7, or even a tad earlier, our official meeting will begin. It will be held upstairs at Learning Partners, 126 South Main (upstairs entrance is on the West Lewis side of the building; we will have signs pointing you in the right direction).

The Wheels of Justice Tour (justicewheels.org) canvasses the United States with education, outreach, training, active non-violent resistance, and network/community-building. The group will offer first-hand accounts of the Iraq War and the Palestine/Israel Conflict.
